The Ranches Golf Club is holding a charity event and we’re hoping you’ll help. A close friend of the club recently found out his wife is being scheduled for surgery to remove three colon tumors. Without  insurance, we have created the Maureen Gordon Surgery Fund at Utah First CU. AND we’re holding a great day of events to raise money. Proceeds from the day’s events will help cover medical expenses and benefit Colon Cancer Screening at St Mark’s Maliheh Clinic. And we’re giving away a Kia Rio in the process. Seriously!

Join us for The Ranches Best of the West Food & Business Fair and Four-man Scramble – You could win a Kia Rio!*

When and where: June 25 from 10 am to 3 pm at The Ranches Golf Club

The Food and Business Fair: Twenty local restaurants and distributors will be on hand giving out free food including Cafe Rio, Pier49 Pizza and WingNutz. Additionally, a number of local businesses will be on hand to help in the fundraising and introduce you to their services. Cost is just $20 for the whole family or $5 per person. This includes 5 tickets for the Kia Rio drawing (see below).

We encourage you to buy your fair ticket ahead of time by calling The Ranches Golf Club at 801-789-8100. Buy your family pass before June 20 and we’ll thrown in an additional 5 tickets for the Kia Rio drawing!

The Golf Tournament: The format is 4-man scramble and the entry fee is just $65 per person, which includes food, prizes, an entry ticket for the Kia Rio drawing and a tee gift. The tournament kicks off with a shotgun start at 8 am. Call the Clubhouse at 801-789-8100 now before the slots fill up.

The Kia Rio Drawing: Remember, all the proceeds from this event go to the fund. But to incentivize people to participate, we’re going to give away a brand-new Kia Rio from Doug Smith Kia!

Fair attendees will get five drawing entry tickets per family pass. Golf tournament participants will each receive a ticket as well. Donations are not required to enter the drawing, to receive a ticket, please mail a sealed envelop or 3 x 5 card with your name, address and phone number to: The Ranches GC Fund Raiser, 4128 E Clubhouse Lane, Eagle Mountain, UT 84005. Request must be received by Friday the 24th June 2011. Organizers, Vanguard Golf and the event sponsors are not responsible for late or lost tickets. Your letter/card information will be transferred to an entry ticket, letters will be held. Employees/volunteers and family of any VGMG companies are ineligible.
