Robert Hammer has been a PGA Golf Professional Since 2010. Born and raised in Sandy, Utah, he developed a passion for this great game on many of Utah’s great courses including The Ranches. Rob graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Professional Golf Management and earned PGA membership. He has exemplified excellent teaching practices and developed great teaching programs everywhere he has been. Rob was the runner-up for Teacher of the Year 2019 in the Utah Section PGA. He spent several years pursuing a professional playing career with success on mini-tours and advancement through stage 1 of Qualifying School. Rob’s passion for competition and the lessons he’s learned from the nation’s top instructors and the nation’s best players have led him to be one of the best instructors in Utah. He is passionately dedicated to improving every student’s game.

Mason Christison, PGA Associate
Head Golf Professional
Mason Christison has experience teaching and coaching golf for the last ten years. Born in St. George, Utah, he has been golfing since he could walk. He graduated from Southern Utah University with degrees in Outdoor Recreation and Psychology with an emphasis in sports psychology. His passion to play and grow the game of golf has led him to successfully teach all ages and skill levels from junior programs to PGA Professionals. Mason has over 6000 lessons taught with certificates in coaching and officiating, has been head coach of both girls and boys Utah high school teams, caddied professionally at a golf digest top 100 ranked golf course for PGA Tour members, taught courses on a Collegiate level and worked with many PGA professionals. He is certified in Club fitting and a PGA associate. His dedication to every student’s improvement comes with his talented ability to focus on technical skills and inspires everyone with their mental game.

Kelly Moore, PGA Associate
Director of Golf
Kelly joined The Ranches Golf club in 2021. He worked as a Golf Professional at Oakcreek Country Club in Sedona, Arizona for 5 years before joining The Ranches Golf Club. While in Arizona, Kelly served as the swing coach for Northern Arizona University.
Kelly became Trackman Certified in 2018 and uses Trackman Technology during his lessons.
Kelly excels in putting instruction focusing on low point green reading and Vision (parallax) alignment.

Mike Greer, PGA Associate
Assistant Golf Professional
Mike Greer is a PGTAA certified class A instructor. He is enrolled in the PGA of America Associate program and has over 10 years of coaching experience in multiple sports with over 3 years in golf. Mike looks to keep the golf swing simple and easy while letting you have fun playing golf.
